Has anyone tried the game?

I loved the first two games in the series, but thanks to M$, Bungie has lost the franchise. I've played the demo, and like it, but the real draw for the first two games was multiplayer, and I haven't been able to find any demo multiplayer opponents. Is the quality of multiplayer still any good?

I've found a copy for $20, and am thinking of getting it, but I probably won't unless multiplayer gaming is decent...
