I assume that's probably a US release date and we'll probably have to wait a while longer in Europe ? I suppose on the plus side there should be lots of material available by the time we get it

EB stores have their chars showing 28th June in Uk, as does eb.uk.com

That's good news then - on the debit side that only gives me about three weeks to finish Morrowind. Think i need to book my summer holidays early.

Heh - pity me. I have a week at a summer camp, a week in Hawaii and potentially three weeks in Cornwall dling a show. In addition, I really need to do some revision and some programming projects over the holidays. And I have a friend who'll, erm, give me his entirely legal copy of JK2 (), and FP's gift of BG & TotSC, Fallout & Fallout 2 to contend with. Argh!

You want pity for a week in Hawaii ? I guess its a pretty long flight but other than that ??
Hope you enjoy Fallout and BG +TOSC. I want to replay Fallout 2 purely because i want to make it as a porn star. Matter of personal honour !

well no. The week in Hawaii is obviously a good thing. The "doing this stuff will reduce time, meaning will have to be strict about not wasting too much time on various computer games when I need to work" thing is what needs pity.

Going gold is overrated. SMAC went gold three times.

I just bought Baldurs Gate 2.

I must say I'm impressed. Whilst some of the concepts are counter-intuative, the plot is proceeding nicely, very interesting.

Neverwinter nights may get a look from me.

Hmm, i'd say that was extremely exceptional. Now that patching by internet is universal, while the Gold rolls through the production and distribution process they can be preparing patch 1.1, 1.2 and so on for immediate availability on the day of release. I've not heard of any other game getting pulled back into design after going gold.
To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

The problem with the first SMAC gold was a bug. The problem with the second is that OSI messed up the second gold. The third was successful though.
