True wargames (with added hexes!) are loved by some, hated by others, so they could deserve their own category.
I didn't check RTS because the ones I liked i.e. original C&C and EU1/2 are very much the exceptions. The same goes for FPS. I don't think I've paid money for one since Duke Nukem. To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

Voted: RTS, TBS, Tycoon, FPS
I haven't checked classic games because I find playing them on the computer boring-ish (with the possible exception of Risk) and on simulation because I don't think you meant EU2.Blog | Civ2 Scenario League | leo.petr at gmail.com

Wargames? Wouldn't that be strategy? Or am I missing something?
Agreed Grumbold, they're either loved, hated, or simply not even recognized.

Me likes wargames, RTS-s, TBS-games and a couple of RPG games.
And I only play sports games with my friends, but I always get angry at development teams, damn them all to hell!! After a few hours the game is not simulating nor the game is fun to play, you allways win by some little bug or a invincible tactic... A development team that after almost 10 years expirience in the same type of games cant make a decent soccer game is a freaking joke...I dont even know why I keep buying these games..Some people never get crazy...but truly boring lives they must lived...

hmm. While I play some FPS games and sports games I didn't vote for them. I don't play them enough to check that. I played Max Payne for like a day (I didn't pay for it- it was my brother's). I quickly grew bored of Madden football.
So it is TBS and RPG games for me. Rpg's take a slight edge over TBS's games- at least recently. If civ3 had been better...
