Online Business Sims (like Utopia)

I've tried in the past to get into Utopia, but I couldn't since there was no map which left me feeling seperated from the world. A business sim on other hand wouldn't need a map or any graphics at all (graphs would be nice).

Basically I was wondering if their were any utopia style games where you ran a business, and played with variables such as advertising, R&D, product price etc. Of course this style of game would probably be more incumbent on active participation than utopia et al. Does anyone know if such a game exists?

It may or may not be what you're looking for but it does have some elements. You can either play as a leader of a country, leader of a corporation or both. It does have maps and a hell of a lot of stats and charts.
