jackal in simgolf too

Anyone know what the jackal.txt file is for in the games root directory? It seems to be for multiplayer, but unless I'm not paying attention, I don't see any multi-player options in the game.

It is a legacy error message file for our game engine, that is required by the game in order to run if I remember correctly.

Maybe the games will merge and you can play simgolf AC extended game

There is a picture of some buttons to go with it.I can't imagine playing this game multiplay

I wouldn't be too surprised. From the screenshots I've seen, the ground rolls much the same way that SMAC did. Now what club would you use to get a ball out of the xenofungus, that's a different issue.
