I totally agree with deanco, i can´t play any other games this rocks! I wan´t also make 18 holes and buy new courses from Florida etc. But is there possibility to save your golf courses so that you can built it again afterwards, i know you can play tournaments afterwards, but when you finish it, game quits to desktop.

I'm not sure why this happens, but for some reason the demo downloads with the name Sid Meiers SimGold DEMO, but it's an exe file. I just renamed the file and added ".exe" to the end and it worked fine.Originally posted by Zealot
I just downloaded the demo file from ea, and my OS doesn't recognize the file type. It asks me to select what should it Open with...!
Could anyone give me some help, please?

Yes...just put .exe behind it...maybe select "All files" too...and it should do the trick...
As for the game...it's quite entertaining...quite a dynamic game...I just can't find the soda vendor...

Hiring people is done under the 'people' button. Once you're on the right screen, click the thumbs up button to get a list of people you can hire.
Has anyone bought the airstrip yet? Gotten their fun factor up to 300? Me, I can get it up to around 210 or so.
I'm also starting to use a single strip of fairway in many cases, it seems to be more effective in providing a challenge, even though it looks less good when you zoom out.
Raising and lowering land is a very powerful tool. One tiny click can completely change how the hole plays. And it's great for elevated tees and greens as well.
How about it, Mr. Moderator? Can SimGolf get it's own forum?

Yea, own forum to SimGolf . BTW can you put fountains in the demo? And can you save your GolfClub so that you can afterwards build it again, i know that you can play tournaments afterwards.

I really enjoyed the demo as well. Man, was I disappointed to hit the 3 hole limit -- I was really having fun. Definitely makes me want to go out and get the game. I think I'll probably get Sim Golf instead of Civ 3 if I ever do get anything.Comment
