If you look at the word "tycoon" too much, it begins to look very bizarre...

We haven't mentioned the never-popular Monopoly Tycoon.

        It was pretty well-recieved, IIRC...

The only Tycoon game I've spent significant amounts of time on was Pizza Tycoon. An absolute classic.

Snapcase, could you tell me how to draw customers? I never managed doing that for some reason. (Yes, I advertised, considering local taste, hired personel, actually opened doors... nothing)

It's about making the right Pizza's, really. It's one of the few games where aesthetic values are important, so if you make pretty Pizzas the crowds will eventually come surging in. And nice Resturants.

Not really Tycoon games since they don't have it in the name but

                Corporate Machine
                Entreprenuer.

Excellent games best defined as Corporate Risk.

IIRC, the Corporate Machine was known as Business Tycoon before being released here in the US.

Another related game without the tycoon label is Capitalism Plus - quite a realistic simulation of the dynamics of corporations and profit making, now available as an abandoned game.

Cap Plus is somewhat interesting though rather dry. Published by the now defunct Interactive Magic. I think they are defunct the website isn't the same anymore.

I had Railroad Tycoon but lost it in the shuffle somewhere. I have RRT 2 but hate it. I am trying to get rid of it.
