    the gameplay will be hard to balance but i hope they can do it, i can't wait

      there won't be any historical AOE 3, BTW.... AOE 3 is going to be a fantasy game, if anything, and Empir eEarth is going to be the only RTS that covers the time from 1500-1900

      in Europe anyway...

        Cossacks:European Wars covers a lot of that period , uptil 1800 IIRC. I haven't played it but it seems pretty decent.

          Yes, Empire Earth is one game I am really looking forward to. You can play through a whole 12 ages or pick any range eg. Play from the 7th age to the 10th age. It's a bit like games within a game. And I think it will be customizable.

            So is EE expected to be basically an AOE clone but with the extended tiem period? will there be no other "civish" elements aside from the time period?
