I will give you three choices. I know which alternative I find most beautiful, let's see which one you like the most.

BTW, fun game! I'd be interested to hear what you and anyone else have to say about it. I have a couple of other moves along the journey I'd like to analyse. But first, my move.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pleasure to make a second underpromotion in the game. Two in a row is very rare indeed. It is mate next move.

I think maybe 23.f5 could be replaced with Qe1 and a3.The impending attack was building.Counter attack was aggressive but something needed to be done on the other side of the board.

Then again, he crushed me up pretty quick so what do I know
The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

I think maybe 23.f5 could be replaced with Qe1 and a3.The impending attack was building.Counter attack was aggressive but something needed to be done on the other side of the board.

I don't know it if would have helped that much. In my opinion, 20 Qg3 was THE mistake, after that I gain time for my knight to reach e4, the g pawn can't advance and I can't see what the rook does on h3. I will post some more analysis of the game probably on monday. But until the 20th move, I was not very satisfied of my position ...

yes.I was looking at 20.Nxc6 then CR moved so I stopped.I can see what he was steering for but it needed more prep and to watch the kingside.
