Yes, I have. They are very good and I like them a lot.

At his site he also says that he hasn't had this much fun playing a computer game since Civilization was released 10 years ago... Obviously, Peter is not in to MP...

          I hope so!

Hey, do you think for my location, I should put 'Europa Universalis Pusher'?

No. That would be confusing. You cannot actually be on "Europa Universalis Pusher" unless you're very buggery. Go for "Europa Universalis Map of Europe" or somesuch.

Rats! Because this game does not involve the killing of deer, turkey, bass, or any other fish or game animal the local Babbage's doesn't plan to stock it. I guess I'll have to take a chance that my hard drive won't reject it and buy it on-line.

Has anyone had any problems getting the game to run? I have a very finiky system, particularily with respect to the installation process. I have a PII 300mhz, 64meg RAM, and about 2 Gigs left on my first drive.

It installed fine on my machine, but I noticed it crashes at least once a playing session. Often when I quit after playing a while it will crash my desktop. Hopefully they'll patch it soon.

But, it was WELL worth getting. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Dr. - I have it running on 4 systems that are quite different from each other. I would suggest though that 128mb may be better as the saved game file expands as you get deeper in the game and some have reported slow downs with 64 mb.

The game is great BTW and well worth the price. First game I can say I bought since Civ2 & AOE that is a bargain price. Ig you are into strategy games, you definitely will get that "one more turn" feeling that will keep you going into the wee hours.

I have PII 350, 128 MB RAM, 8.4 GB hard drive.

The game installed flawlessly, and I have not encountered a single problem. Just make sure you have all the latest drivers for your sound, video and CD-ROM applications. Also install DirectX 8.0 (which can be found on the game's CD). I have not encountered a single crash either.

This is a fantastic game - A true rival to Civ II, that easily surpasses it in many ways. It is full of depth, strategy, and history. It encompasses the whole world.

The sheer breath and depth of this game is amazing. The manual is beautiful. You other game companies take note!

How did Paradox ever create such a game? This is THE game to get while you are waiting for Civ III - even then - you will still be playing it.

It is a complex game that will mean that you need to read and study the manual. That in itself is a joy - really massages the 'ol brain cells LOL. You will also learn a great deal of European and world history - who woulda thunk it?

While I'm playing the game I'm also going to be reading Paul Kennedy's "The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers".

                    I highly recommend this game

Do I have the slightest chance of finding it in a British shop, or is it just flying off the shelves as soon as it hits them?

You have a special part of town for virgins? Cool! I think that's wonderful. How big is this area?

Can you believe it? I went to a specialist game store and asked for it - they said they had one copy, but someone bought it (no sh*t!)

They really anticipated the demand there

Well, maybe they think that Europa Universalis isn't the sort of game that virgins would like to play.
