                            In French the abbreviation F stands for Bishop. We call it “le Fou”, literally “the Crazy”. The correct translation would be the Jester, which was called “Le Fou du Roi” (crazy of the king) in the middle ages. It is funny to notice that the King and Queen are next to the bishops in the English game and next to the jesters in the French one. I know they are called “Laufer” in German, “the one who runs”. How is it in other languages. What about Swede, Carolus ?
