If I'm not mistaken, this was the question Ben Stein was asking as the teacher in Ferris Beuller's Day Off. It is spoken in the most dull, monotone, droning voice you can possibly muster.

And welcome to the Apolyton Chess Club, Julius. Be forewarned, though. To do battle in this arena, you must be fully armed with a huge ensemble of weapons... humility, chicanery, deception, swamp land salesmanship, sandbagging expertise... oh yeah, and a knowledge of how to move "horsey" piece. If you need help with that, either of the two current players can help you there. I think.
