If you enjoyed KOTR, then i'd recomend Morrowind - Game of the Year edition(£30 at the momment).
Its a huge game, which makes the xbox, IMO, the only real console worth owning(unless of course you have a decent pc to play Morrowind on). My girlfriend loves the game, so i guess its a girls game too(you can play as a female character).
for a cheap co-op FPS(like Halo) you could have a look at Judge Dredd vs Judge Death(£20 approx = cheap!).

well xbox now has all of street fighter 2 and 3 series available for xbox live.
if anyone wants to play agst me in Super Street fighter 2: Turbo, ill show u why akuma is so rediculously cheap (yes he's so cheap hes not allowed to be used in tournaments!) in that game. As soon as I subscribe to Xbox live and get a decent joystick.:-pComment
