I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

How about an expedition theme? A team of members searching in Africa/ underwater/ somewhere exotic? The time shouldn't matter, although an early 20th century would be cool.

I'd be interested in giving it a try.

As for theme, I vote for, hmm, something of a fantastical Renaissance village, I guess. Snowbound, some new travelers coming by, mysterious fortune tellers, crazy inventors, rumors of cultists... you know the deal. (Or alternatively, you could also just go high-fantasy with wizards, werewolves, and so on running amok.).

Early 20th century explorers underwater who find a fantastical Renaissance village beneath the waves?!

no, no... polar ice explorers who find a fantastical renaissance village full of gypsies.

(or use one now and another theme later).
