Whatever happened to..... (the Likely Lads) The Bitmaps?

They made some of the greatest games it has been my pleasure to play.

Well, Speedball 1 (), Xenon, Xenon 2, Cadaver, Cadaver 2, Gods, Magic Pockets, Chaos Engine, Chaos Engine 2, and something called Z that I had to look up.

Ocean were like the british version of U.S.Gold - their heyday was with the 8bit platforms and they produced thousands of games(well it seemed like ).
With so many titles they did do a few good uns, still they also loved those naf movie-tie in games

Ultima were cool - all those classic spectrum games like Sabre Wolf, Jetpac etc

System3 - the Last Ninja games and International Karate.

Team17 - Worms,Alienbreed, a few okish beat em ups.(they might still be going?)

English software - Electra glide and many cheap but decent platform games.

But Microprose is my saddest one at the momment, from all the flight sims i used to play on my Atari(F15 strike eagle, solo flight etc), to all the (still) best of the genre games like Xcom, Magic the gathering, Pirates, Civ, geof crammonds F1 Grand Prix.

'The very basis of the liberal idea – the belief of individual freedom is what causes the chaos' - William Kristol, son of the founder of neo-conservitivism, talking about neo-con ideology and its agenda for you.info here. prove me wrong.
