What's the best racing game for Playstation 2?

    What's the best racing game for Playstation 2?

    I presume there's a few of you out there who own a Playstation 2...

    At the moment the only racing game I have is Gran Tourismo 2 for Playstation 1 so I'd like to know currently what the best one out there is.

    GTA Vice City.
    Really, just that one level with the fat dude.
    Actaully tho, I'm not a big fan of racing games. Try not being lazy and checking some game rating sites, like the inpenetrable Penny-Arcade, or i guess X-Play or something.

      Need for Speed Underground and GT3 are the only 2 good ones at all as far as I know. The Xbox is much better for racing games IMO.

        Haven't played any other racing game on my PS2 other than Gran Turismo 3 A-spec.

        Great game, I love the fact that you can buy better cars and upgrades as you win more money. Graphics are pretty decent despite being a somewhat older game.

        Plus you can pick it up for $19.99 at most stores.

            I not sure but I don't think so. If it is in there it is a hidden car to be unlocked. Yeah Gran Turismo 4 is around the corner. According the OPM ( the Official Playstation Magazine, USA may edition) GT4 is due out in July.

                Although this might be the one they have in the game (it looked like this in Gran Tourismo 2)
