Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Inspired by the vmxa's new avatar pic I decided that this game is worth discussing, because it was a great one, my favorite from the Might and Magic series.
Has anyone here played it?
And vmxa, why did you change your pic?

I have played it 3 times to the end, but the last time I finished it for 10 days in-game :-) I developed a plan to finish it for 9 days but still I haven't enough time to implement it :-)

Just so you know it can be done in five game days and no cheating or abusing NWC and such.
I don't like the speed game and tend to play a kill all monsters and do all quest game and shoot for a Feb finish with one training session. This lets me have fun and score around 300k.
The only quest I can't do is the Druid promoton as it require you play till March and of course Nicki. You cannot release him and rescue him in that time either as the carnival will not show up in time.
Sure, I read about the 5 day run at the Ribannah's site and it goes along with my ideas, but four days for travelling and 1 day for playing - this guy should have run like mad :-)
Also I thought that certain door in the Superior temple required expert perception, but it looks like having 2 perception raising NPC should do the trick ....

Grumbold that is a fun way to go and I have done that most of the time. Once in awhile you need to change up, so you do a speed run or no training or something.
Hehe, I have played Morrowind too, but I think M&M has much better gameplay. Morrowind has much better graphics, but it is understandable because it came out much later.

I rarely play any game more than twice but I can see why you'd need to vary your tactics if you did
How can you win the game without doing much training or even much travelling?
Very carefully.
You do have to do the normal amount of travel.
I am quite used to played the first half of the game without training, so it is not so bad. The last have with no training is a bear. You have to use the wells and horseshoes to the max. You need to know where everything is and when to hire and dismiss NPC's.
