Hey folks. I did a search to see if someone already made a thread on this game and I didn't find any. If there was a mistake, forgive me .

Basically I want to know if anybody ever tried this game? The box looks cool but cool-looking box doesn't neccessarily translate into a cool game.

I was curious and then i saw it was published by Jowood so i'm having reservations.

I tried to download the demo, it came out as a zip file but I was unable to open it. :/

I like it when an independent force comes along and tries something new, and I really wanted to see some "Role-Playing Strategy" like WarCraft III was supposed to be. So finding out that Spellforce was RPS made me interested.

Unfortunately, according to the IGN review, they said there were some issues with the interface & unit AI (but it had good parts too, of course). I'm inclined to wait a bit, let the price drop, and see if people are still playing it online.

I just noticed this on the store shelves. Not that I'm going to risk buying it

It didn't look that interesting.
