Drogue was a former infantry officer right? He even had an injury to prove that he has seen the action: his left hand was missing. He said this happened during one of the charges, when the general didn't think through the plan carefully enough, and Drogue's infantry division got under attack of the enemy cavalry. They put up a good fight, but most of the men got slaughtered almost immediately. Towards the end, just as Drogue was reloading the rifle one last time, an enemy soldier galloped towards him and unsheathed the sword, aiming for the head. Instinctively, Drogue ducked and threw his hands in front to protect himself. The sword cut the left hand off cleanly at the wrist and the tip went through the left cheek. Drogue collapsed from exhaustion and blood loss and lost consciousness. The enemy cavalry never stopped to check if he was dead and galloped off.
That's how we know it was Drogue. The left hand was missing from the body, and one could clearly see that it hadn't been cut off any time recently.
I still think catching the mafia in the first round should count. Especially after all the times they haven't been caught.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Remember that we are trying to get a tie between 2 people here. We do not want the mafia offed in the first round. That happened last game and most of the village died because of it.
People who aren't make this a tie are automatically more suspicious than the rest of us. Isn't that right, Rah?
I agree that the no-kills during the first two rounds rule should go though.

Beg your pardon? Trying to avoid finishing the round? If it's something I'm doing, it's going with the docpile, since I don't know who else to vote for. And that should do the opposite of what your post is saying, namely finishing this round.

Did we really get Pave as the Mafia last game, and catch him with the docpile we started before he even struck? We could have saved the whole village! I can't beleive that.

Since if the Mafia dies on the first 2 turns, he is replaced without us knowing, you don't want to kill him on the first 2 turns. So the only person trying not to tie then would be the mafia. I'm not totally sure I understood it fully, but I'll try! I thought docpiling was what everybody wanted here? Seems so often at least. I want to have "something" to go after when voting, but since we are in the start of the game, I decided to join in docpiling. I guess I should be careful with that with Skanky around. He was after me last round also, but then again he was the Mafia, so it's highly unlikely that he is Mafia this time too...
