  • What's the deal with trygames.com?

Does anybody have any experience with these full-game downloads? Can the purchases be made by people from all over the planet, or "only in the U.S. and Canada"

It seems a great idea. Perhaps too good to be true

    Anybody?

"Lemonade Tycoon" is the top download on that site, but the very concept is just ridiculous... lemonade tycoon...

It looks like it's available worldwide. The order form has a menu with countries other than US and Canada.

I never used something like this before, but apparently, Skywalker has. Maybe he can help you.

Well, I guess I'll have to go check it out now.

Are there costs involved in the 'trying' phase (membership costs)?

I was reading a wirelss preview, and that game is available on cell phones.

What's the deal with those wireless games though?

I was reading my copy of CGW and they were talking about games like Everquest and Neverwinter Nights on a cell phone. How expensive are those phones, and how much battery do those games use up? The games are pretty crappy looking though.

Bigger target market. There are more people with cell phones than there are people with computers.
Moreover, cell phones are portable. Play anytime, anywhere.

I don't know about pricing in the US, but the phone price over here can be as low as free.
