I have used a novel investigative method and made a fantastic breakthrough narrowing the list of suspects to only two who are very likely and maybe another 2 more who are not so likely.
I am going to give you more details later, but Skanky, Tuberski and Rah are not on the suspects list any more.
Don't vote for them and wait for my detailed report before voting.
This time I really made an investigation and I need some more time to narrow it down. If I live long enough

Thing that strikes me is that the villagers all seem to have shocking memories. They always remember AFTER castrating someone and shoving their genitalia somewhere unpleasant that in fact that person was with them LESS THAN 1 DAY AGO.
And doesn't the person being killed offer the alibi? That is, if their tongue doesn't go first.

Maybe we bash them over the heads first before "reading them their rights" and then carrying on with the punishment. They can't defend themselves if they don't know they are about to be charged with the death.
