The game has been released on other platforms, so it can be considered a re-release.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

I got kinda bored after a while... it's all this '80s thing which makes the game even more boring than it is...

think of yourself as Tony Montana

the pink killed me, and the music. But I played it all the way trough with a friend, we took turns doing missions, so it wasnt that bad.

Space, the difference between the two games graphically is just about non-existant... I see no need to count them as two seperate games, so to speak. What's so revolutionary with GTA:VC that one need to buy it if one have GTA3?

The graphics in VC is much better than in GTA3, and there's a lot more options (Like being able to buy your own apartmens...

                  ... and lots more...

The downside: Everything is so... pink

the two games were previously release on PS2 and had a HUGE difference in graphics, the pictures I posted are of the X-Box versions of each. The only difference there would be story line and slight variations in the gameplay.

OK. But I don't see any huge difference at all? On the contrary, the pics seem quite similar in quality...

The graphics in VC are much brighter.

I tend to like the drab feel of GTA3 though, and the fact that your character doesn't do any talking is a huge plus.

I liked the setup of GTA3, but I LOVE the 80s, so VC has a soft spot in my heart. And, I actually finished VC, while I'm like at the last (tough) part in GTA3 and never finished.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
                            - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

The character we play in VC is, to put it bluntly, an agreive ****head. The game is segmented more too, with 3 seperate islands rather than just two halves of a map - you get a greater sense of acievement.
