Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Now that I have a PC that can run them properly I finally picked up Warcraft III and medieval total war and I'm looking forward to hours and hours of creative destruction.
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

I'll buy RoN later.
I don't know about Total War, but Warcraft III wasn't that great... it's just about build-a-large-army-ASAP-or lose... and the graphics sucks pretty much... even for those days standard... though I've heard there's a good mod avaliable, which makes the game great, haven't tried it yet though...
WC3 is one the better and more varied RTS in terms of different styles of mission, as anyone that's actually played it will tell you. And MP (TFT now) is great.
MTW is a solid game, though Shogun was more of a novelty at the time it came out.
I knew I wasnt gonna have to go inhabit some other sites. Can y'all feel the love?
I liked playing WC2 (SP) just as fun entertainment. So far, WC3 looks great and the game changes seem to allow for some different strategies than 'build a big army and crush your opponent clickfests'. We'll see!
I loved the tactical combat in shogun, but the strategic side of the game was too simple. From what I've read, MTW seems to have improved both sides of the game enormously so I'm really looking forward to it. They've incorporated some of the combat gameplay ideas I suggested to Vel for Candlebre so thats a step in the right direction Apparently, the next iteration Roman War (or something) due out late next year looks even better.
i too am waiting to buy certain games till i get a new PC. MTW is definitely on my list.
