36 MB RAR can easily equal to 160 MB unpacked. Source is almost entirely text, after all.

Well, it's hard to make something fake that looks like code. Once you unzip it, I mean. You can't just take and stick any code there, as anyone with programming abilities will quickly see whether it can be HL2 or not.
