My position is deteriorating steadily since 24...Be3.
You know, I thought you would play 24. Kh1 and played 24...Be3 without thinking or even looking at your move (I saw K and 1 and assumed h instead of f)
Only after your next move 25. Bf4, which would have been 25. Bf4 ?? had you moved 24. Kh1 did I see what your move truly was. But at that moment, it was already too late.

Never mind now, I still have some defensive potential left, I hope

Sorry, I was up to post a few days ago, but then got distracted by a PM. Only now realized, that I hadn't posted then.

I don't consider your position to be so bad as you make it. It has no big weaknesses, at least not more than mine.

Bump. So what will we do with this game? Call it a draw?

I am sorry for the delay in my reply, Sir Ralph. I didn't even notice our thread, because I was rarely online during the last month.

Thanks for your offer to call the game a draw. Apparently, our tournament has fallen appart, probably because of real life obligations of the participants. I accept your offer and we declare this game a draw officially. I suggest we proclaim you, Sir Ralph, winner of our tournament.
