Just for the record I'd rather build it myself. My current system is a dell, but I bought it when I was 17 and before I knew a single thing about hardware. The next one will be a custom built

My Aunt threw out her old computer because it wouldn't burn cds anymore and ordered a new one. (I found out a month later, too late to save the computer)

A lady at work asked me about a PC. She was clueless and just wanted something for internet access and email. I do not think that I could have built it cheaper than one of those systems.
Me, on the other hand, wants a biznatch hippy-hoppy BA gaming machine. I'm still trying to come up with a Bizzaro-bob case mod idea as well. We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

depends though. Ive got a BIG local screw driver shop (micro center) and a little one (that mainly sells refurbished PC's but also builds new PC's) If you look only at the best deals Dell is offering on budget PC's , Dell seems competitive. Of course that gives you far fewer options than the local screwdriver shops."A person cannot approach the divine by reaching beyond the human.
