Yeah, that's an owie. I figured after Nd7, h3 forced you to exchange bishop for knight and give me the bishop pair plus an isolated pawn on an open file to work.

Prior to exchanging off the queens, you were actually at least equal, if not a little better. Depending on the line played, the Falkbeer makes things hairy for white due to exposed king. I like the KG for it's relative rarity and psychological effect.

There's at least three decent books on it published in the last 20 years or so - you might be able to get a deal on a used version of any of them through amazon.com or abebooks.com It's a good opening to know well precisely because few players know how to handle it.
