      Sorry; I moved your kinght to d4 instead of b4 on my board. I wondered why you had made such an obvious miscalculation. I shouldn't be doing this while I'm trying to upgrade this app at work. Until tomorrow.

          Harry - if you've got Winboard, you can save the positions so you don't have to set them up repeatedly and risk mistakes in setting them up.

            I have winboard; my concentration's just a little lacking on the last few moves here. Not an excuse, mind, just an observation. I'm actually moving on the board and lining them up wrong when I get the coordinates. Reading is fundamental.
