Which card would that be? I have a few copies of Mind's Desire around here somewhere.

PS If you really want to eliminate your opponents library, Raven Guild Master and Crafty Pathmage are the way to go in my opinion.

Offtopic:OK. Found.... I wanna ask something not very new... Is there some alternate rulesbooks that explain the same but easier to understand?

Not quite. It was restricted in Type I just as the set came out, because it's unbelievably broken there and can go off on Turn 1 or 2 (Lots of 0 casting cost things like Moxes, Hurkyl's Recall all your artifact mana back, play 'em again, Desire for 8, turn over Cunning Wish, Wish for Brain Freeze (for free), game). Now, other decks can go off on Turn 1 or 2, but MD is basically uncounterable, so it's trickier.

Extended it is still legal, but the combo is slower in Extended and there's other nasty competition. I'm hardly an expert, but I'd guess that it takes until Turn 4 most of the time (maybe Turn 3 on a good day), and by that time, your opponent may have ripped your hand apart with Duress, have counters ready for your set-up spells, have dealt 15 damage to you with Goblin Lackey + Goblin Goon + Goblin Piledriver, etc.

Anyway, MD is perfectly non-broken in Type II. It's one of those spells that gets better the more cheap set-up spells exist around it.
          All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.

                Mind's Desire

Casting costs are on average kinda high in the Onslaught saga, so it's not as bad as it looks.

Hm. The only good part is storm though, otherwise it's quite crappy.
