I like RPGs, and this Morrowind game seems interesting. I went to its official website and I found out that it is a single-player game. I thought it was some sort of MMORPG.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

But it's glorious. Trust me. No 133t to deal with, or subscription fees....Just a fun, large RPG.

              completely single player.

no hope for multiplayer anytime ever in this universe.

I'm mixedon morrowing. The world is huge, and you can do a lot of stuff, but the combat just isn't that interesting for me.

how does the combat work? I usually overlook such things in rpgs, though it usually turns out to be the thing that makes or breaks it for me.

damn, I'll have to buy an Xbox if I want to play Morrowind. The PC version has not been released here, but the Xbox version has. I mean, wtf? Any moron could see that the Xbox is not a popular gaming platform around here, but most everyone who plays electronic games has a PC at home.

As I remember, morrowind combat is kind of a slowed down jedi knight thing- hold down the mouse button and release to attack, 1st person perspective. I never played a spell caster, so I dunno if that was any good.

You can fight in 3rd person, but it's rather hard . Spellcasting gets harder later in the game when you have a lot of them. All in all, it's one of the best games I've ever played. You have a gigantic area to roam in, and you can do anything you want. You can do the main mission, join a house (3) and do hundreds of unique (not randomly generated- coded) missions, join guild(s) (Fighter, Theif, Morag Tong, Mages, Imperial Legion, etc.). Then there are the side quests, not related to any mission... Dungeons are a bit small, though.

soul caliber was a good game, but undeserving of a sequel imho. no fighting game is.

Ive come to a conclusion and heres the list:

                          1. Hearts of Iron
2.EU II or RoN (need help on deciding)
                          3. some cheap older game that looks good and might spark my interest in another series that is entirely unheard of.

as stated in number two on the list I need help deciding which on of those two games to get. I would get them both but then I would feel like Im just wasting money, so lets here opinions on Rise of Nations and Europa Universalis II. What are the pros/cons, etc. ?
