Depends where you are. The release was July 1st, but most countries other than America get it in the few days after. In the UK it comes out tomorrow...........my preordered copy is on its way as we speak.
I played the beta though, and most of the new changes have been incorporated into classic 1.10, so I can see the interface and some of the new graphics.

Sure, there's a couple of new Heroes with a couple of new spells and some new units (And the new hero I tried, was the most boring of all of the heroes in the game)... But that doesn't make it worth it...
Well for the SP campaigns it's a fair but not superb expansion IMO. For MP the gameplay is entirely different, with much more balanced armies and player versus player action.
In Classic there were a few things that have been changed now that held WC3 back (although it was still very good) from being the great game is now will become. Creeping was too powerful, leading to games where player versus player interaction was limited to one winner-takes-all battle. Teching was too easy due to base defences being too strong. In addition the 2 armies in a given matchup would not change much from game to game because the counter system was a little too weak; certain units were unused because of this as well.
Now the added heroes add depth, and the units are more balanced within races, and the counter system means much more variety in any given matchup. Teching is now viable but risky if you attempt it too quick, as it should be.

Most of the korean pro's still play human.........it's too early to say yet really, but I think it's pretty well balanced out of the box.
Also I wish to correct this n00b.
I just checked the Kalimdor ladder and undead now dominate it.
