Noosland today announces a bold Environmental Vision for the next 20 years. The following components are included:
1. As announced previously, all fire and nuclear electricity plants will be decomissioned within the next five years, to be replaced by fusion reactors. Supplemental energy sources include tidal, wind, hydro, and geothermal.
2. Except for hygenic reasons, expressedly made disposable items, including contact lenses and eating utensils, will not be allowed.
3. Trash disposal fees will be on a sliding scale depending on members in a household and amount of trash. Credits are allowed to be buy and sold among households.
4. Biodegradable vegatable matters will be handled separately.
5. Electricity will be charged on a sliding scale depedent on members in a household and amount used. Citizens are encouraged to build their own renewable energy generators such as wind turbines. Loans and technical assistance will be made available, and excess amount of electricty can be sold back to the community.
6. All oil burning home appliances and devices are to be replaced by natural gas ones within five years.
7. All ICE cars are to be replaced by fuel cell and electric cars within ten years.
8. Within a year, no motor vehicles other than public transports, ambulances, fire engines, and goods transports are allowed.
9. All household energy efficiency will need to improve by 10% for the next five years.
10. A comprehensive Clean Water Act will be put into place within the next two years.
11. A comprehensive Clean Air Act will be put into place within the next year.
12. The Natural Resources Commission and Enviromental Protection Bureau will be merged to form the Nature and Environment Department.
