This peaceful fishing community has turned on it's head today when a local geologist found a deposit of rutile, titanium(IV) oxide, on a rocky cliff on the beach. Already the government owned Mining industry has rented out the minning plot to a Greater Finland company, Titaniotech, that has started preparing the site for mining. The titainium ore extends a mile under the surface. since the area is low in diversity from fishing enviromental concerns are minimal.
