    Breakthrough in fusion research

The Apolyton Fusion Research Initiative is pleased to announce that we have acheived a fusion reaction that self-sustained for 30 seconds. We believe that we can acheive reactions that can self-sustain indefinitely within 5 years.

          We Made It... Almost

Apolyton I, the prototype fusion reactor, has been running self-sufficiently for the last two days. This stage of the Fusion Power Initiative has almost been completed. The next stage is for the miniaturization of the fusion reactors.

At long last, the FRI has achieved a breakthrough. The Apolyton I now has been operating for two months continuously with no reported problems. The Apolyton I is a 20 GW experimental fusion reactor.

Our next design, Apolyton II, is targeted at 400 GW.

Thanks to all countries that have supported our efforts. We will send all of you a detailed technical report containing all the design specifications and data as soon as it is finished.

The Commonwealth of Akiria had overlooked this issue, and feel the need to help. If any help is required, do not hesitate to contact us. We are willing to provide, computing equipment (of which we have state of the art systems) and scientific expertise (havingthe most intelligent people, and best education system in the Region) as well as monetary support. Indeed, Akizeta herself would be honoured to help with the project.

The Kingdom of Wine is happy to see that all the money and efforts given by Wine and by his scientist to this project is paying off.

We await many more interesting news from noosland on that matter, and we will send an extra-funding of 15 Bilion drinks.

Noosland announces new electricity infrastructure scheme

As fusion power becomes a reality, Nooland plans on decommisioning all fire and nuclear power plants within the next five years. This is a giant step towards sustainable development, which has always been our national policy. This will also eliminate the dangers associated with nuclear power plants, such as meltdowns and being targets of terorist attacks.

At the same time, we will decentralise power generation to small fusion plants located in communities. This will allow us to eliminate large part of power grids, saving maintenance costs while simultaneously increasing the robustness of power supply.

Centralis will also be contributing funds, equipemnt and expertise to Phase II, and will observe with interest the results of the use of Fusion power in Noosland. We may be following suit if the results impress us.

                                More results

Fusion reactors of ratings 785 MW and 800 KW are operational now. Detail reports will be sent to all participating member countries. The later is particularly suited for generating electricity for remote villages where building wind turbines is not practical.
