The Lord Protector takes power!

Let it be known that the Lord Protector Leo I of the Holy Empire of Sheepsta has formally taken power. The realm has suffered under the parliament that the munificent Lord Protector disbanded. Let it be known that Crime is on the decrease, Foreign Affairs have started and, new laws enacted. The economy is thriving and strikes are banned. Tax has been cut to 13% and hell, isn;t this worth not having those pesky elections!

We welcome the Lord Protector to the leadership of the Holy Empire, by opening embassies throughout Apolyton. We await your responses.

The Republic of Centralis condemns in the strongest possible terms the open declaration of a dictatorship by the Holy Empire of Sheepsta, and is hereby banning all trade with Sheepsta until such time as the country holds free elections and returns tom unions the right to strike.

it is the presidents believe that other nations werent out to insult the empire but only to state that they dont agree with the holy empire. it is also the presidents belief that the holy empire will not benifit of any kind of war. our president strongly advices on reconsidering

The People's Republic of East Yorkshire, a both atheist and free state, both held in the upmost regard, frowns upon Sheepsta's manoevring. We feel compelled to provide assistance to the rebels against this barbaric regime.

The Commonwealth of Akiria believes that Sheepsta's decision on whether or not to hold democracy. While we are an athiest democracy, we will judge Sheepsta on its benevolence and actions, rather then its style of government.

The illegalisation of elections and the banning of unions qualifies as an 'action', does it not?

The elections where run by money hungry corporations. The Holy Government of the Holy Empire took control before the corporations did. The Lord Protector reigns supreme and welcomes the friendship of any nation. However the military is being built up due to many of the adveres reactions, and with friends in other regions, The High Council warns against any actions.

If you are worried about corporate control of your election, there is a simple solution: ban them from giving donations to your political parties.

That was just a ploy by the politicians! They would of found a way around this law, and therefore the Lord Protector was forced to act. The Holy Government is now in charge and will remain so until the conditions for democracy are there. Unfortuantleythis does seem a long way off.
