Im 17th and I've banned Gambling (I tried to ban it just for children, but it wouldn't let me).

I'm 14. I still haven't had any issue to deal with gambling. Obviously being where I'm from, I will legalize it. It just hasn't came up yet.

Guess that says something about the politics of the leaders of the nations in the Apolyton region.

Kass: Congrats, and yes, I would say that your outlawing capitalism may have been just a slight factor in this.

Edit: Out of curiosity, I decided to check and see which nations were on top in the world ranking. The highest is "The Federation of The People":

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, the Environment, and Education. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

It also mentions that their civil rights are "excessive."

Edit again: Ironically, the #2 on this ranking also has a 100% tax rate (with the same comments re the private sector), but also has a "good" economy. Must be damn good lemonade.
