    Economy Booming

    Rasputopia has conducted a census recently and discovered that the population has boomed to over 50million citizens. This has been done whilst still maintaining a Power House economy.

    The government has lowered tax to an all time low of 7%!!

    Whilst government spokesman Claude Sansiveri said this was a great achievment for the new nation , he also added that with Tensions rising with auldonina across the border some extra taxes may be needed to train up a suitable defence force. The Rasputopia Defence force was rated as 17th Largest (per capita).

    January 26th was announced as a national holiday in honour of the Great Nation.

    Rasputopia now has over 80 million citizens.


    With so many more joining the new republic and with the old Empire of Auldonina fading, the Rasputopian governement has made a large land deal with the Auldonian leaders.

    Auldonina will now only control the old citys of Auldonina Central and a small part of the off shore islands.

    No figure has officaly been released for this purchase but it is rumoured to be at least twice what the Americans got Manhattan Island for.!!!

      93 Millions citizens and still growing.



      Unfortunatly some of the civil rights and political freedoms have dropped due to an influx of over zealous foriegners. The government has had to crack down on some really radical lobbyists.
