The Holy Emperor Arkatahten, ranked as the 7,710th largest arms manufacturer in the world, shakes off his short slumber of isolationism following the long wars of Arcadia and makes known that trade relations are sought. Arms are being manufactured in the holy uranium cities. Great stocks of uranium are available as well. Even with the massive percentage of police and armed forces that we have, there is an incredible surplus of advanced weaponry for all your police and military needs. We just can't stop making the stuff.

In the wars of Arcadia, Arkatahten vanquished many nations, such as Tim the Enchanterer and Nasr kingdom and others, which are now completely removed from the world, and Linna Gil which suffered mightily at the hands of the Holy Emperor and his army and fled the region of Arcadia. Another enemy, Neo-Zyon, departed Arcadia in fear as a result of the turmoil caused in the region by the ever advancing war machines of Arkatahten. Now Arkatahten focuses its eyes on its historic holy lands and settles there in the uranium cities. The war machines leave Arcadia and arrive in Apolyton.

We are currently looking to establish trade. The wars of Arcadia have slaked our thirst for battle. The Holy Emperor is more concerned with the adulation of his subjects, the manufacture of his products, and the constant vigilance in monitoring and policing each and every citizen's each and every action.

OOC: Alright, here's the deal. Arkatahten was a force to be reckoned with while in the region of Arcadia, but Arcadia is much smaller than this region and does not have as many guidelines or rules, so I was able to use role-playing along with NS statistics for how large an arms manufacturer we are to seal my military superiority. Here in Apolyton, I'm not sure how it works with regards to establishing how much and what types of weaponry I would have available. I also don't know how you guys go about calculating military force. Any advice or guidelines you can provide will help me figure out my country's statistics as they would apply in this region and my list of available weapons.

As for the question of determining how much weaponry and military force we have, it has been a very contentious one. About the only thing there has been agreement on in the past is that the technology level is slightly higher than modern.

The following calculators were used.

Without ignoring my secondary and tertiary industries, the score for the first calculator was about 1.8 million. Since defense and police force make up 74% of the country's spending, I think I can drop the other industries. This brings the result to around 2.2 million, so I average my military to be around 2 million.

I had a score of 64 spendable points for the second calculation.

2 million is fine for a nation of 400 million - only 0.5% of the population, less than many industrial nations have today.
