No, you can't support such a huge army abroad. Your country just does not have the logistic capabilities for this.

well ihave psoted ample evidence as to why i do have the suport, i have cited real life situations as to how it works, yet all you do is keep stating in your opinion i cant do things, give me some examples of how it wouldnt work...

The key point that you're missing here, Ras, is that nobody agrees with your arguments. You are the one who has to convince us.

Exactly. Ras, if you don't believe us, just consider the situation in Iraq.

my point exactly. how many troops did usa ship there how did they get there how much fuel how many ships planes etc...

i dont know exact numbers but again taking the ratio of theri size to mine it is all possible... if my estimates of
US forces in iraq wrong i will suitably reduce mine in azan... otherwise i have given real world numbers to justify my numbers, if you dont like it then you are denying reality..

I am amazed at all this, it seems that a nation with only 418,000 troops has been able to send a sizable force to AZAN across an ocean too (approx 1/3 clsoer than Auldonina i guess) and no one blats an eyelid...

I post a meagre 1/6 of my forces there and people get upset...

And what info there is that says you can maintain such a huge army in another country so far away from you?

                    Frankychan from the previous thread:
Just popping in and signing into Apolyton to give a heads up on my situation.

I know I said that I would be able to post something later today, but I've been called into work at my other job. I probably won't be able to post on Thursday cause I have to pull a doubleshift, which means I can't post until Friday. I know this'll get some people pi**ed off at me, but hey, RL work calls and I must answer like the drone I am.

Apologies from me guys, my bad.

Ras, how is it that your calculator gives you such a huge military, but gives the other huge nations comparitively small militaries? A bit convenient, isn't it?

no it gives centralis a vey large army.... and the hive was even bigger......

as i said i built it to represent the USA so any nation with similar statistics will be large too. reason that noosland so low is that their econmy is weak and they have lemonade as their main industry. I can accept that a poor economy may have a reasonable military, but not if they dont have the industry to support it. lemonade boys and book publsihing empires are not going to support huge armies...

Well, I made a new calculator.
Since the Book Publishing industry is my largest, I decided that people in nations where this is the case must be smarter, and therefore able to support a larger, more high-tech military and get a major bonus...

Pff. This is why all player-created calculators are shot down by Cerooan I.G.N.O.R.E. cannons, they are all different- each with it's own biases, usually to benefit the creator's style of nation.
(And I'm not saying that this is done out of greed- anyone can justify the bias, like I just did with Book Publishing)

The US is probably a bad example to use- no NS nation could ever achieve the complete dominance over the NS world that the US has over the RL world in terms of military might.
There is also the fact that the US running at a major loss- the federal budget went from a $236 billion surplus in fiscal year 2000 to a $521 billion projected deficit in fiscal year 2004. The US needs increased public investment (education, job-training, basic infrastructure, the environment, energy, and research & development), money from these have gone into covering tax-cuts for the rich, and the Iraq war. If the US continues as it is, its economy will collapse, and without the world's strongest economy behind it, the world's strongest military will not be able to fund wars half-way around the world.
The US military model is a poor choice, it is not-sustainable over a substantial period of time, and it is unique from any other nation.

Sorry, but I fell asleep last night in the middle of my post but I can guarantee that it'll be up by the end of today.

As long as it's up by Monday, I don't think anyone will complain too much.
