  • Capitalist Paradise (?)

"****", Gabriel Ramon whispered, as the latest UN report on the country's developement landed loudly on his desk, after falling from his hands. After an incredible rise of almost 10% in GDP in the last year, with reconstruction efforts humming everywhere, the PPP mark has crossed the mark of 26,000 Ceroo. However, some rather disturbing trends have emerged. Social inequality has risen to staggering levels, as the corporate and government executives and workers, who started making more and more money left the masses of unemployed far behind.

"It's time to call in the cabinet".

Social inequality is natural, and absolutely essential for the economy.

Well, according to the link, Azan is back to "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy". You shouldn't trust those U.N. reports too much anyway.

Ceroo applauds the Azani companies in their efforts to increase the nations GDP, and sees unemployment as a regretable side-effect of general economic prosperity.

With Ceroo to begin working on rebuilding port facilities in parts of Azan, once the areas have become safe, we will ensure that the companies involved will give the majority of the manual labour (low paid ) jobs go to Azani people.

He certainly doesn't know much about business in a capitalist country anyway... if he wants to run an actual, major rebuilding effort, I predict his government will be in serious trouble quite soon.

Meh. Our $10 trillion or so of government waste goes straight into the pocket.
                            Corruption is a wonderful thing.
