Only true if your strike takes out every nuke they have, which is highly unrealistic.

Unless they really truly suck at surveillance and readiness, they would definitely see your missiles coming and launch a counterattack before any of your missiles hit their bases.

It does take a few minutes, you know. The typical cold war scenario was that the side being attacked first would have approximately 20 minutes' warning. Plenty of time to fire their own missiles against the attacker...

Also, nukes can be hidden on railroad cars moving around, hiding inside tunnels, etc. Virtually impossible to keep track of each and every one at all times - not to mention hit them all in one strike. Same goes for missiles on ships and subs, and bombers taking off before their bases are struck...

Edit: Fixed a couple of typos.

Doesn't this mean that the Hive would have assumed that Auldoninna had fired nukes at it? If so, wouldn't they respond with nukes of their own?

exatcly , the hive would assume any plane flying over head was carrying a nuke too. based on that, then all the world is now in flames....

Don't be absurd, Ras. You aren't going to send planes into his airspace without permission, or they would be shot down.

That would be a good assumption if there are a whole bunch of Auldoninna ICBMs heading towards Hive all of a sudden.

                this all hypothetical of course..

but if one of my palnes was carrying a nuke over his terriroty, it would hav eorders to arm and drop it prior to being ointercepted...

reality is, if some one wanted to, it very easy to nuke a nation, maybe not so easy to hit targeted areas.. but jsut the mere fact a nuke could be landed is bad enough,

so yes time for all biological/Chemical nad nuke weopons t obe destroyed. all nations to accept this and allow inspectors from neutral nations to check..

the council can decide what to do if some dont accept once this is accepted...

Highly unlikely. He would see you at least several hundred kilometers from his territory.

It is very easy to nuke a backward country. But then, what is the point?

The majority opinion is using nukes is bad for the launching country anyway

I don't think you should be outlawed from possessing them, but I think everyone should be smart enough to show self-control in using them.

The way the vote stands now, having them for roleplay purposes is fine. Using them is not.

Would it be okay to use bio-weapons with prior agreement?

i think usage on other nations must be agreed upon. but secondly the world may still respond militarily against the users.
