The Cerooan government would like to point out that many nations have introduced tarrifs to protect local industry. We have introduced one to protect our automobile industry [ooc: from the NS issue] as it was promised as part of the Conservative's election manifesto. We would also like to point out that the new legislation will benefit all Cerooan car manufacturers and not just Newport Motors, and took this action as opposed to the alternative- abolishing the previous government's minimum wage laws. Surely you can agree the tariffs are far more favourable for the people?-Sir TComment

You are correct that size isn't everything, but given that most of the other major regional players have larger economies than you, along with their larger populations, and that many of them are allied, any Auldoninan attempt to stir things up any further would have very painful consequences.Originally posted by Rasputin
