The Frankychan / Azan Situation

We offer our apologies at our inability to comply with your request.
We are currently at a state of benevolent neutrality with the Human Hive, which we thankfully do not extend to FCL.
Despite this, we are unable to agressively commit active combat troops to a foreign conflict without prior majority agreement by the Tower.

As no such agreement has been made, we will proceed ahead as planned, but with several major alterations:
1) We will inform you that these 'military advisors' are in fact elite covert operatives, which we have just done here.
2) 20 of these operatives will be commited to training and leading Azani militia. If there is any objection to this by the rightful Azani government, they will be withdrawn and reassigned.
3) The remaining 50 operatives will enter FCL under the guise of a covert agreement made in General Frankychan's favour. They will then proceed to wreak merry havoc with the FCL political and military heirarchy.
4) Shipments of arms will be offered to the Azani militias at a minimal cost. Training in the use of these arms will be provided upon request.

Please note that we are largely 'in this for the money', and will be requesting permission to exploit a small percentage of the soon-to-be-former FCL's natural resources.

Guardinian landing zone, north of New Aurora

The landing zone was a flurry of activity, but things were starting to look more organized now. The 1st Armored Division, known as the Armored Titans, was now fully unloaded and ready to move out. They had received their orders about an hour ago: They were going north along the A-7 towards Roshem. The 5th Mechanized Infantry and the 3rd Marines were also coming, with the 9th Airborne being sent further inland to guard their flank. As the first armored column rumbled onto the higway and turned north, the men were in high spirits. This would show the allies that Guardinia was serious about guarding their northern flank, and probably also give General Frankychan something to think about...



[OOC: Guardinia has a relatively potent army, although not nearly amongst the largest in absolute numbers. Guardinian Central Command does not believe in "defensive armies", choosing instead to rely heavily on mobility and attack strength. However, there are of course some units that have defense as their speciality and will act as "dedicated defenders" in a crisis. A much favored strategy when defending is to move fast and hard hitting attack units up on the flanks of their own defensive units, then have the defenders pull back, luring enemy forces to advance... ]

Free Azan Village, further north along the coast

The Guardinian Special Forces unit watched as the FCL tanks rumbled into the village, smashing several houses in the process. They watched the FCL soldiers beat several villagers as they began rounding up the locals. They watched how an unconscious man was dragged over to a waiting truck and literally tossed inside. They recorded everything from their concealed positions overlooking the village.

As the FCL troops appeared to be establishing a command HQ in one of the larger buidlings, the Guardinian Lieutenant in charge of this unit transmitted a quick report and kept watching...

Lt. Commander Jean Miller has never seen such an awesome sight in her life. The Dominion is just a few hundred meters away, and it was so huge, it looked like a floating island. The Dominion was the core of the 3rd fleet, packing a staggering amount of firepower. Its main guns launch large projectiles at tremedous speeds, blasting the targets like meteor strikes. The forest of secondary guns and missile launchers render it impervious to attacks.

Well if he has half his army as he says in a country whose inhabitants are only slightly larger, then that it won't be too hard to starve him, especially since those support ships will be taking a massive trip all the way to the south of Azan and then back up

The Azani are now able to take the city we cleared for them, and as for supplies, we are ably helped by the locals to gather enough produce.

ooc: Laz's post was fine. He made it clear that his forces deliberately fired from a position that would put civilians in harms way, no matter how "precision" your weaponry is.

I think he acknowledged your attacks, now it's your turn to follow up.
