The government of Karakas has announced the end of provisional corporate rule, and declared that the new constitution will come into effect at exactly midnight.
The announcement marks the return of Karakas to a more "conventional" style of government. The nation had been administered directly by corporations since the old constitution collapsed. The new constitution re-forms the Assembly and the executive branch.
The administering corporations, such as WMD Inc., will continue to provide most of the services as they did before. In fact, the new constitution provides for corporations to take on an active role in all areas of the administration of Karakas. It also defines and formalizes the commitment to free market economics at the foundation of the modern Karakasian nation.
This will be reflected in a "cosmetic" change, with the country's official name becoming Capitalist States of Karakas at midnight when the constitution comes into effect.
