We are currently outfitting the FSS Marley, flagship of our shuttle fleet, for a long range exploratory mission. While these shuttles were designed for long range, long distance missions, they were also designed for military use, however, we are removing all military equipment, and replacing it with purely scientific and propulsion technology, as well as life support and crew support.
Any nations interested in collaborating, please say so.
We are outfitting the ship with an auxillary vehicle, which is a modified Hastings-class fighter, for landing on the red planet, with the aim of men walking on Mars.
We are in need of better rocket tech, as we rely on Ion engines, and of course the use of the ISS as the actual launch platform, to make catapulting the ship a more efficient process.
Any offers?
