How do you know? Is that true. I think it could be good if it is. Some regions have problems with malicious people who are doing it just to make trouble. While we haven't had this yet, it is nice to know there is something we can do should we need to.Smile

I think DarkCloud thought it was "undemocratic" to ban people from regions. Especially if they're all members of the wonderful herbivorous brotherhood of man that is the U.N.Everything changes, but nothing is truly lost.Comment

I think we need to make this more democratic then having random people being kicked out cause the Delgate don;t like him. Even though i wouldn;t mind seeing Archaic go.Don't tell a twisted person he is twisted, he may take offence. (THAT MEANS ME!)

I wouldn't want any of us kicked out, I think it should only be used in extreme situations. For instance, when NewOrIando was spamming out region with crap, while being from another region, that may have warrented it.Smile

I frankly think that it's great that people can be banned from areas- you don't want your region filled up with hoodlums, do you wiht ugly flags, etc.?

It detracts from realism- in RL all regions have trouble makers, (not gonna name examples as I may offend somebody, but y'all know the ones)...
BUT, it could be a useful feature for troublemakers... but we've not really had any of them n a big scale yet. have we?
I think it should only be used when the general consesus among the regions' members is to eject someone... however, (not that it's likely) we could get some delegate who's a right jerk and eject all the people who endorse their closest rival (i.e. to maintain delegacy).

Hopefully anyone who tried to do that would have his own endorsements removed when he started that kind of crap, and be ejected himself once he lost the delegacy.Comment

When I was in Frito, I was kicked out, along with two other friendly (to Marijuania) nations, because I pissed him off by explaining why his racist, totalitarian, fascist views were wrong.
I think its a bad move, it can enable delegates to have a tyrannical rule over nations. A UN delegate should be related with the UN, more of an ambassador than a leader.
Also consider that only UN members can elect delegates by endorsements, yet delegates can kick out non-UN nations, if I'm not mistaken, that happened to a nation in Frito who was allied with myself, yet not a UN member.
One could argue that by kicking out a nation, even with the will of the region behind them, it is still an act of tyranny by majority, comparable in that sense, to popular support for the death penalty. Actually no- it helps the game.It detracts from realism- in RL all regions have trouble makers, (not gonna name examples as I may offend somebody, but y'all know the ones)...
for example, I know of several regions who had their RPGing invaded with people posting
"homoz suxorz" about 50 times and trash of that nature... I also know one region that was taken over by the "region of big titties" and other such troublesome nations- disgustifying their region leaders page.-->Visit CGN!
