Good games you have been having there. And the amount of success the Australian sportsmen and -women have had is astonishing. I mean, you have only some 20 million people, and haven't got much less medals than US and China!

I'm also much happier about the Olympics now when even our finnish athletes have gos some medals.

Joker: Yes, you have the vote for the EMU, right? Be sure to vote for it! I don't want to have to exchange money when going to neighboring countries, when you can go to Spain and Italy without doing that! And those damned Swedes should join too...

To heardie: Yeah the olypics are (were) great! Not only for the Australian but also for the Dutch (where I live obviously).

To amjayee&joker: Yeah, the EMU is great. See my country: The Netherlands, we are really ready to rock! Only, the Danish has voted against... How sad.

The Dutch did great. Van der Hoogenbaand and De Bruin did a great job, as did that cyclist.

Hurray! Denmark won 2 gold medals on the last 2 days of the Olympics! Cool!

Unfortunately we voted no on the EMU.

                Heardie:

                Well, have a good trip!

And congratulations on the prince thing. We are waiting for you to become a prince too, Amjayee!

284 - 16 more posts to be Prince. Can't wait.

I can bet the atmosphere at the stadium was great. I was watching the ending ceremonies from tv, and I have to say they were spectacular. And the fireworks must have cost fortunes.

I'm not too happy with Denmark saying no to the EMU, but I guess we have to live with that...

Well, the fact that we are princes just mean that we have been spending way too much time here. But we're not alone. Korn is a king! And if you look at the Off Topic Forum you will find people that have made over 10,000 posts (!).
