I was just wondering, if it might be beneficial to our game if we actually went through all of the ~400 pages that is The List, and try to use many of these ideas in OC3.
After all, we are trying to develop the civ game as the civ community wants it to be - therefor we should listen to them.
Of cause we will not be able to implement all the ideas, and many of our ideas for the game are indeed more revolutionary than those found in The List. But I am sure that there are loads of great ideas in there that could make our game much better.
If we are to do it, however, we must coordinate our reading, figure out who is to read what and so on. And then we must make sure to take all the good ideas and present them to each other, and leave all the poor ones alone.
