ok I have played ctp, but not ctp2. Is there a screen that lets you move citizens to specific tile in a city. in ctp you left click and place them on specific tiles. is ther something like that in ctp2? trying to figure out how to do things sometimes is kinda hard Ken/dancemasseuse

yeah its quite easy actually all you have to do is. Double click the city and click specualists. there u have a choice of what u can invest in your civilians are doing. not all are available at start but u get more later in game.
Oh u can also righ click the city and click city manager to bring up the window.

No, you cant move a specific citizen to a specific tile, but like tripa_skaven said, you can direct a population point of your citizens into either entertainment, research, production etc.

Which basically means the overall city site is more important, than just a few good tiles around the city, like it was in ctp1.

All tiles in the city radius (whicn changes according to the side) are worked. As Skaven said you can change the specialist assignments.
This kind of micromanagement you mentioned is removed from CTP2.

thank you all. I thought it might be like that but wanted to understand and was not sure. I did like the micromanagement of ctp1.

Should you be interested in more info on the resource system of CtP2 (which is indeed quite different from CtP1's system), check out Q27 of the CtP2 FAQ and the links mentioned there.
