  • help w/ lotr scenario

perhaps a kind soul can shed some light. I really want to play this scenario.

I have ApolytonPack, activision patch, Modswapper,
Cradlemod 1.35, and lotr. When i launch modswapper " lotr alpha 1.1" does not appear. When i am in the game lotr does not appear in Scenarios.

The lotr files are in the Call2power 2 directory

Actual the LOTR_* files should be in your CTP2 folders and a ModSwapper option should show up. Therefore one question where are the LOTR_* files exactly located in you CTP2 folders. Most of them should be found in your ..\ctp2_data\default\gamedata\ folder. One file that must be there is the LOTR_gamefile.txt, is it not there then there is no ModSwapper option for it. The easiest way to fix it would be to unzip the files again and make shure that the subfolders saved in the *.zip file will be created.

Yeah, it didn't unzip properly. What program are you using for extracting the zip file?
If its a recent(ish) version of Winzip, the files *should* unzip in the correct subfolder, but (I think) you have to unzip into the Activision directory, not the CtP2 directory as usual.
      Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

Actual you can also disable the feature that the files will be unzipped into their original subfolders.

Not a problem. Remember to get an updated version when the Events are finished (hopefully this month), and Hex declares the scenario finished.
